I have been using Mobile 1 in my last two cars. My last monte, I was changing it every 6,000 without changing the filter. If that was a bad idea or not, Its still running today... My New Monte, I have been running it every 3,000 and changing both oil and filter. If thats a waste of money, I dont know. I guess I can say that my oil is always fresh. I figure, if it keeps the engine running a little better, and last longer and better health, its work it!!
