Yea now thats the creative guys, do it themselvers ( Good stuff !) cause ya know the exhuast kit will cost a fortune for those cars..Is the sound that bad when it hits 4 cylinder mode though?

After a certain RPM or speed ( correct me someone haha), usually when your cruising the motor will only run on 4 cylinders to save on gas

You have to be in D - not 1, 2, or 3, - you have to be going over 20mph, but less than 75mph - and have no load on the engine (i.e. towing or accelerating), and then the DOD will kick in and "turn off" 4 of the 8 cylinders so that you're only running on the other 4 cylinders - and the DIC also shows you which mode you're in - 4 or 8.

Ive had my DOD run on 4cyl mode going 85 on a flat stretch of freeway. I think you have to be under 2000-2500 RPM for it to kick in.

eh, I just disabled the DOD altogether a few months ago - so now I'm always runnin' on all 8, all the time... tuned it a little, and now getting better mileage and going faster!
