has anybody seen the monte or impala with the optional chrome triangular double-spoke wheels??? the only picture i could find is with them on an impala and it was cropped so you could not see the whole car. it was a black impala and it looked kind of cool. what is your opinion on them???

i ask because i am going to sell my 95z34 as soon as i get my insurance money from my crash. i was thinking about getting an acura tl type s but i am thinking 40k+ may be a little much for me at the time being. plus i think they are going to add awd at some point so i think i may wait a few years.

i am now thinking about a new monte ss, i have to test drive one first but its on my new list of cars i may want to own. i just wish it came with all the fun toys that are in the grand prix gxp though.

last question, how easy will it be to find one in the color and options i want? i was thinking black with the silver trim, and all the options. i wasnt sure if they were done making them yet or if i could order one to my specifications.

My dad has a TL type S. So FAST. :twisted: I love it. But yeah my next car will most likely be an 07 SS that I'll have to buy used. I don't plan on ever selling my 98, so it may be a long while before this happens.

i wanted to keep my monte even if i bought a new car, but since it is kind of banged up and it is a 95 i dont really care any more. if it was a 97z i may have considered keeping it and just fixing it up but i have put alot of money in this car since i bought it and i dont really want to put a bunch more in to it just to get it back to stock.

cool, thank you much. so i am not sure if i like or not. i like the more open look but i have always been a fan of a more simple five spoke design.

06MonteSS: i like what you did with all the SS badges, i am not really a fan of the gold bowtie. were those easy to find?

nah, I don't like those wheels either...

yeah, I got the extra SS badge from my dealer - $10 for the extra one for the front grill.

The others are the ones that were already on the car. The one on the trunk is the same one that came on there - I just removed everything else and then moved that smaller SS up under the 3rd brakelight where the gold bowtie was...
