ive never done it but there are 5 or 6 holes for the trim to go through the hood. youd have to fill em and paint or just get a llumina or z34 hood

Yeah three holes I think. I first had mine painted body color but the got in an accident. I had to get a new hood so I just said don't order the one with the holes in it. I hated the chrome.

I removed the chrome trim on my old LS, no holes, just the same goo stuff that holds all the other chrome peices onto an LS.

Some good thumb work and about thirty minutes later it looked like a Z34 hood. I'd suggest though if you want to take the chrome peice off the hood you might as well go all the way with it and remove the chrome in the grill(the part where the Chevy emblem sits.)

No. He's talking about the chrome edging on the hood. It's bolted onto the hood via 3 bolts.

If yours wasn't bolted on then someone might have stuck an LS chrome piece on a Z34 hood after an accident minus the bolts.
