Well, mine is filthy too after driving it out from AZ and then going through the weather here, so don't be embarrassed. Mine also needs a little paint work. I'm just glad it's running now. I had to replace the power steering cooler hose yesterday. What a b**ch that was.

There aren't any trees in the way at Byron? Nor Great Lakes? Nor Cordova... And yeah 41 DOES suck, but no trees that you can smash into?
Oh you thought STREET racing? That's even more lame than parking lot. You think I was talking about arranged street racing? Sorry not me.
And yeah, you can't meet, talk, or eat at a track.

Wow can you feel the hate? I noticed about 80% of the members on this board are just flat out jerks. Why cant you folks just try to be civil? What works for one does not work for others. Loitering in a parking lot is actually fun. Getting to know other enthusies with out all the other distractions is nice. Going to the track! Racing! YES!!! Very exzilerating.
I happen to enjoy both. Racing and loitering LOL! I personaly do not limit my experiences. I like to go and try all things out. Some of you might want to do the same. And by all means. LIGHTEN UP! Stop the hate.

Would anybody be interested in a gathering. (At this time no racing) Around the lets say. Woodstock or Union area? If we get enough interest, I would be glad to throw a Monte BASH. All generations. The most importaint thing I would think I would need to do. Check with local administrations and feel out how they are with the younger generation. You kids catch a lot of flack for just being young. I could look for an abandon parking area located near resturants and hotels if need be. I would naturaly ask about a permit for a burn out dual. What say you?

However, it is difficult to get these things planned and organized. We're lucky enough to have Cort taking charge for the mid summer meet!

Like I said one event a year. O.K. by me. Il make the meet that Cort is throwing. How many others who would like to go and can't? I know how difficult these things are to do. They realy are not! All I was asking, If anybody would be interested? The feelings are that they are not. Again no biggy. I just feel bad for all the Monte owners who cant make Corts meet. Hopefully they can make it next year. After all. Its only a year. To bad its felt that there is only one person in this State that can pull off a car meet. But then again I end up going to about seven a year. Cort don't throw them all. Sorry Cort this is not a negative to or towards you. You do a wonderful job and I'm looking forward to our next meet. I just thought it would be cool to have two meets in the region. Limiting our selves to one meet a year is just silly. But what is, is what is. One a year.
It would be nice to have two though. One for those who can make Corts and one for those who can't. AND two for some of us!
