Cort and others. I was thinking of throwing a second gathering, say begining of September. With all the folks on vacation and such, I just thought it would be nice to have a second event for thoughs of you who cant get to Cort's. I was thinking around Woodstock/Union area. If there is any adult interest please let me know. I can start working on it soon. It would be basically the same as Corts. Except maybe a burn out comp. (Permit in ?) Certificates for best in show. One per generation.

Please keep your replys to this at an adult level. I just want to know who is interested. Not in those who would bash the idea.

If we get enough interest. 25 or more Monte Carlo's I will indeed throw a gathering. Free to you! All you have to do is show. Heck. I might even add a free BBQ. At this time I am looking at a few posibilities. A lot large enough to hold 60 plus autos and safe room for a burn out comp. That is the reason for the BBQ. Usually to get a lot that large. We would have to drive to get food. I would not care to give the local enforcment any more reason to be bugging the younger generation of Monte owners. I know the latest thing is to hate Wal*Mart. This maybe the place we will meet. VERY large lot. Right by there auto section! They always have food vendors there. That way outdoor vendors would not be challanged by the local Municipals. I will be posting with regular updates on a new thread. Posting on other Monte clubs. I also will be passing out flyers to Monte owners I see in the area. So don't worry if you happen to be the only one from this sight who has interest. One more thing. This is NOT to compete with Cort. This is ment to coinside with his gathering.
(This gathering is to favor the FWD 5th 6th and 7th Generation Monte Carlo)

The heading was thoughtfuly done by another member of this board. I fully thank them for it. The date is not firm. It may favour the following weekend. More information as it comes along.

The reason for the begining of September is. School. Kids go back to school. I dont want to have that as a reason why they cant come. If anybody has a better date with reasons why it would work better. PLEASE let me know. The date is very flexable at this time. Please feel free to chime in at any given time. As it looks now. With out any foot work yet. There are only 4 interested.

Hey that's fine ... don't let me not being able to be there make you change the date. I agree; early September is better...just so happens I already have plans for then .
