This is my first post, but I've had my 99 Monte for 8 months now.

I bought my Monte with a broken console lid like many of you. Here's how I fixed it. I'd like to see this one break B)

It took me a few tries because i did not have the original pieces. I made 4 before I figured out where the hole needed to be and have the right angle and all.

Anyway, here's a pic.

I fixed mine by buying an 07 impala ss. that design is not breaky prone.
