Looks good, dynamat though? You just want less road noise or do you have a music system in there? Dynamat is alot of extra weight.

Chris,

mainly road noise but also to give the stock bose system some extra juice.... its not that much weight at all... the box of 100 sq ft was only 30lbs... so far i have 2 layers on the doors, and have only used about 25-30 sq ft

Saw this at the mall earlier and wasn't sure if you'd ever seen a G35's tails done like this.

because I'm paying cash for it just like I did with the G35 and need a few more months to save ... not financing, leasing or any of that b.s... when i bought this car i said i'd have it for 3 years... i still plan on buying the Camaro by the spring... which would be even under 3 years

my car is already listed for sale ... I've had 3 legitimate bites but I'm not ready yet.. right now i can afford a 2LT RS, but don't want to settle

did i NEED it no lol but its really nice to have living in NYC and parking on the street a lot.... the head unit has the connection for it and the camera was under $20 so i figured what the hell

it turns shows on the screen automatically when i shift to reverse but I could also turn it on any time manually from the head unit

welllll.... thought id update..

As some of you know I graduated college in May... after turning down one sh*tty offer, and hundreds of unanswered applications, I was finally able to land a big boy job last month.. Full time position in lower Manhattan; pay is well above average for undergrad business degree (I went for marketing)... amazing benefits all the way around.. from annual raise, vacation, 401k, everything is more than I expected to start out with

soooo what does that mean??? new car come spring time... saving up a bit more so i can buy it cash again like I did with my g35... I've been parting out my car slowly.. so far about $2,000 worth of stuff has been sold... from here on is the bigger stuff, that i may just leave on ... some of the engine/exhaust bolt ons, my brakes, springs, DD head unit, etc.

what Im considering is... 2006 c6 coupe .... or 2010/2011 camaro 2SS/RS coupe... not considering either in a vert... leaning HEAVILY towards the camaro though... that was my initial plan from when i still had my lumina, and I'm still insanely in love with them

in the meantime, while parting out... i have been slowly been picking up camaro parts already... my biggest purchase so far has been rims

So anyway... back to the G... Here is the finished product as she sat in the spring

Posted Image

about 2 months ago I took my 20's off... the stock g35 18's dont clear my BBK calipers, so I picked these up.. 350z 18" rims.. cleared by a hair

Posted Image

after about a week of having those on... someone messaged me about trading rims straight up. he had the OEM forged 19's from the G35.. bigger, lighter, better tread on the tires, so that was a no brainer... did the swap, and here it is now

Damn, I wish I would have known you were selling this before you started demodding. The car looked great. Don't get me wrong, the car still looks good, but I liked the other rims and everything you had done to it.

I was showing my girlfriend as she is looking at getting a new car and did not realize it was a 2003. The car looks great and has great miles. Just curious, how much are you looking to get out of it and what all have you sold off of it?

thanks! yeah trust me I miss how the car looked with the rims on

Most of my mods are still on it.. I just took off some basic stuff

whats gone:

Rims
Carbon Fiber Engine cover
STB
K&N drop in
06/07 door panels
a few random stock parts i had laying around the garage

whats still on it... items in bold will stay no matter what

Akebono Big brake kit... 4 piston fronts (14" rotors), 2 piston rears (13.8" rotors)
full size spare.. 350z 18" rim integrated into spare tire well
Upgraded to 08 350z y-pipe and intake tube

Motordyne UIM spacer
Pioneer Avic F700BT DD with JDM dash kit
Reverse camera
Lightly Tinted Tails (painted)
06/07 OEM Projectors with Philips ultinon 6000K in projectors and fogs
Black roof (painted)
Front lip
JDM clear corners
Super white LEDs in and out
OEM all weather floor mats
20% tint all around

Asking 13,500 as is... 12,000 with a few things removed.. i bought it in june 09 with just under 40K miles... right now it has 66K

with my mods the car is putting out just about 300 crank.. could easily get to 315 with a tune as is... could approach 330 with high flow cats

the cool thing about tunes on these cars is that its integrated into the steering wheel controls... you can switch maps on the fly with a few presses of the cruise control buttons.. can have up to 5 saved... most common ones are performance, economy, stock, valet (car won't exceed 3000rpm or 20mph), theft (car won't start)
