Well i have a black car and i think green looks good with it, because of that i also have a green under body kit. And then i think the bright blue fogs like they use to be looked lame w/ the green neons. so now it all matches

Non functional lights are silly, green will not help you much in the fog.

MOST aftermarket fog lights aren't really fog lights and won't help you.

Against the law here in Ontario. Volunteer firefighters usually have flashing green on the front of there vehicles but they are the only exception. If you have anything other than yellow/orange and white lights on the front of you vehicle you will be fined. Same goes for the back except red is allowed obviously.

Once I was stopped at a light in the left turning lane at night and saw flashing blue behind me. I was about to do the "oh f*ck, what did I do" thought in my head until I realized it was some fag in a cavalier with blue turn signal bulbs. I wanted to kick in his headlights right there but decided he wasn't worth it.

Yeah i guess there isnt really a use for green fogs other than looks. I have yellow fogs tucked inside the lower lip of my bumper and u cant really see anything with them. I just like the way they look coming down the road, reason i have them.

good, sorry, people who point their lights incorrectly piss me off.

I have a moderately high eyeglass prescription and astigmatism so when people mis-point their lights or use highbeams its not just a bright point of light but giant blinding stars in my vision.

Night driving glasses help but don't fix it all the way. There are plenty of folks like me on the road and it is very dangerous when it happens, esp on the highway.

Yeah that happens to me too. I bought my fogs mainly to serve as DRLs since mine don't work or I don't have them or something. I figured they were probably cheaper than trying to fix them/installing the system but still helps keep me more visible. Otherwise they just help throw a bit more light on the road at night.

Really? you wanna have DRL's? First thing I did to my car is pull the fuse because I think it's a dumb thing to have. lol

I find DRLs to be quite usefull actually. There are times during the day when conditions are such that DRLs make other cars easier to see. This is esp true in warmer climates where heat from the road deck can distort the air and create the mirage effect that can effectively hide a car. With DRLs you can tell there is a car there even through the distortion.

I also like them because there seems to be a large segment of the population who thinks that just because it is "daytime" they don't need their lights even though there are pletny of times around dawn/dusk and when it is heavily overcast that they SHOULD be using thier lights.

Remember, lights are not just about you seeing the road, its also about other drivers seeing you.

I disabled my DRLs only because they were just annoying and kind of pointless being that you have a light switch anyway.

If you use the switch at the right times. IIRC that was why DRLs came to be in the first place, people were too lazy/didn't know/whatever to use their lights correctly in the daytime so it just became easier to let them be on all the time.

Don't get me wrong, in most daytime conditions DRLs serve no purpose however they are a savior in any of the conditions I described in my last post. My 95 lacks DRLs but I, like you, turn them on in the daytime as necessary. Many people don't though.

Fashion over funtionality is self defeating. Not to say I dont like fashion, but I did consider the site.
I saw some nice fog lights, their pricey.

Nice turnout!

Maybe you can get some clear bumper lights and paint them with the left over transparent paint. Just an idea...
