I got my a-pillar gauge pod from gaugepods.com today and took a couple pics. It's not installed for good yet, but I was kinda excited when I got it so I had to go out to the car and do a little "mock-up". Overall I'm pretty happy with it. Really looking forward to getting it installed permantly.

Just after taking it out of the box:

A pic to show the color match, and my only complaint about the pod's fitment so far. The color is great, but the edge along the door is basically straight the whole length of the pod, whereas it really needs to curve slightly at the top to follow the car's pillar. I haven't decided what I'll do about it, if anything. I'm most likely going to wait until there's at least no snow on the ground before I try to install it permanately, at which point I'll adress any fitment issues.

Fitment looks terrible in the pics because it's not screwed in, so it's just hanging loosely FYI.

Do you like the color? Does it match good all around?

Edit: I do know that you said you liked the color, but I was just wondering if it matched everywhere.

That's why I would wanna get a one-piece replacement oem color or just repaint both sides to match or some other color. I don't like how they screw on and just sit over top of the original piece either

I too would prefer a one piece replacement piece, but this is the only pod available for our cars. I'm not willing to pay a custom shop to build me one, so this will have to do. And yes, the color is uniform and matches across the whole pod. My car has the cloth interior though. Does the black leather interior have the same color pillar?

I did find another problem with it too. I tried fitting my boost guage in it, and the holes are just slightly too small. I expected a good tight fit, but I could litterally not get the gauge in any of the holes. It didn't make much sense to me though that the Aeroforce fit. Guess I'll have to sand the holes a little bit...
