So here's the story, I sold her in September of '06 to get my 2002 Bonneville SSEi. This past year I had some SERIOUS financial problems with being laid off for a whole year and what not, I had no choice but to get rid of my SSEi. Soooo, during this time my cousin bought a '98 Monte LS, because he was in love with mine and seriously was there every single step of the way with me. Now that he has a great opportunity to get a new truck he's selling me (( hopefully )) the Monte. Me & my partner put quite a bit of work into his car, just recently fixed some rust, put the z34 front bumper, removed the chrome lip on the hood, spoiler, and some other little odds and ends! And here it is, lemme know what you think?

awesome, welcome back.

hehe no 56k, its 2010, does anyone even still use a modem to connect to the internet?

Just checked the stats, less than 2% of our visits in the last month were using dialup. I think it is safe to say no one is on a modem.

That would be cool if you could get back into a Monte. I remember your Monte, you were pretty much the one who got that body kit on first if my memory serves me correctly. That was a cool Monte.

Just outa curiousity, what are you driving right now?

I'm not sure if you're joking or not but 56k is a reference to a dial-up modem that many people had when the Internet was just starting to get popular. In fact whenever I go to my parent's house that's what I use because there isn't any high speed internet offered there whatsoever (and they don't have satelite).

But yes, I like the hood too. If only I could find a fiberglass hood and mold one of those scoops onto it, that would be awesome.

yeah... i was joking lol, but it took a sec for me to remember what it was, im only 18, weve used wireless since i can remember, shows how technologically advanced young-ins are. bet my 10 year old sister would have no idea what dial up is lol.

but yeah, on that hood, i was thinkin for a while about making a ws6, but backed out until i got a new hood, this weekend

I'm in the cleveland area. And yes it all started in my home garage, but now we're renting a garage, still a home garage but it's set up like a real shop. All concrete, it's huge, exhaust. Just everything we need

and I don't have a car right now, my Bonneville was taking from me in April, & since then I've been borrowing rides and everything so needless to say I really need this, and for me to get into a Monte again would be amazing!

You know, come to think of it, it looks like you put a lot of money into that white Monte. How much would you have charged for that job (if you don't mind me asking)?

Oh caca, no monte :(

I ended up buying a Pearl White Lincoln Mark Viii, it is in much better shape than the Monte was, only 83k as opposed 110k on the Monte, interior is next to flawless, and the monte need a HELLA lot of interior work, and this thing runs so smooth, I'll explain a little more, I am going to get some pics once this damn weather breaks a little, she is ALL DIRTY!!!

So needless to say no need to get your Monte all geared up again amexcreuse, there won't be any competition :(

I was REALLY looking forward to the Monte, I even have the eBay headlights opened up and ready to retrofit, projectors, angel eyes and all kinds of stuff here, but the Lincoln was too much car for a great price so I couldn't pass it up! Deff not the most attractive car on the exterior, but she runs great, and sounds great too :)

edit**
as far as the paint job goes, thats deffinately something we can talk about if you really might be interested, I have plenty of pictures of progress work of quite a few cars that we did, just let me know if you want some info, PM me for any other questions
