ok, so yesterday, i get a call from a friend at a junkyard saying theyre about to crush a lumi with trunk pop, and asks if i want the trunk pop button and parts, i say yeah, and he gets em for me. thing is, the lumina is crushed, and i only have about 4 inches of wire on each piece, anyone know what each wire goes to/does? or at least what's power/gnd/switch?

i know what goes into the trunk, the little servo things, whats on the actual button is i guess my real question?

Mine has a white plug with I think only 2 wires (green & black maybe, don't remember for sure) that plugs in the button. I think that's what your askin right?

yeah, i have those wires, but which one is power in, and which one goes to the trunk pop motor itself is my question

nevermind, i figured out, the black wire is power in on both the button and on the popper itself, the ground is on the motor, and the green wire from the button goes to the motor

im hoping you didnt pay over 5 bucks for the button... haha. Yeah, GM failed on the wiring codes for the trunk pop. When i was doing my RKE i was confused out of my mind.

yeah, paid 10 bucks for the button, servo, and trunk light switch lol
