I am sure that a few of you have seen this on w-body but I figured I would post it up here too as I know not everyone is on that board too. I picked this car up last Wednesday. I washed her today and took her for a quick spin with a stop at the mall for a quick little photo shoot so I could finally snap some pics of my own. I was bummed that they had the roof level closed because it still was covered in snow. no I am not missing any lugs, the locking ones just sit a little deeper in the opening then the rest

check the nut on the rack and see if it's wet down there. That's where they like to leak.

Did you snap off some lug studs?

Is your windshield tinted? Seems pretty dark up front there.

Good lookin car you've got there. I've always liked that hood. Not diggin the tails personally, but other than that looks sweet IMO.

Oh and, you need some nastier tires on your car, those tires look like something you would see on my grandmothers Oldsmobile Bravada.

Other than that, the car is pretty siqqqqqqqqq.

Cool - looks just like my car minus the hood and tails!

Any engine mods?

thanks for the replies! The engine is completely stock, I will looking into what "go-fast" options are out there for it though. Tinting the tails is definitely in my plans as well.

Man, your GXP looks awesome. It's kind of weird but for some odd reason I can't keep my eyes off of that hood. It looks great. It does look like the windshield is tinted to me too. I can't wait to see what you do with this car.

You do know that a tinted windshield is illegal as hell right? Be careful with that.... You bought it as-is though I'm assuming

I did buy it this way, but I have had window tinted this way before. The tint in the front is just enough to take off the headlight glare from oncoming traffic, but not enough to make night driving difficult.

I do have a letter from my eye doctor stating that my eyes are ultra sensitive to light do to some condition that I have, which I cannot pronounce, and that he recommends that I have tinted windows in my car. In Michigan a letter from a physician should get you out of a ticket with the officer and even if they do write one, it will almost always get it dismissed in court.

Man, you're lucky. I couldn't get my eye doctor to give me a letter for having window tint. All he would say is that he doesn't give out letters anymore.
