so i got the actual component off, so now my question is what part do i need? I see they sell the whole component ac delco part 38198 or can i get the actual pulley ac delco part 38027. I f I can get just the pulley, does it just slide on? I cant seem to get off the 15 mm bolt that holds it on

Just go to the junkyard and snag one there oh and word of advice don't upload pictures to bulletin boards, it clogs up their HDD, use something like photbucket and paste the IMG code from there, this also allows you to keep the orig size

I replaced the pulley before ( in below zero degree weather) but it wasn't the tensioner. Are you replacing the tensioner with the pulley or just the pulley? If you're just doing the pully itself there is a washer on both sides of the pulley. DO NOT LOSE THE ONE THAT GOES ON FIRST!! I did and melted the pulley down to the bearings. Just make sure u keep up with the washers, just a word of advice.

if you havnt replaced it yet, i would just get the complete tensioner and pulley. Pre-assemboled and also the tentioner will wear out over time... Mine went bad and the tensioner actually started to seporate(on the pivit) causing the belt to walk off 1 tooth and slowly shred... (took me a couple of belts to realize that was the problem...
