I've got 96 LS with 15x xxx miles that's overheating. Replaced lower intake manifold gasket (due to coolant in oil), thermostat, and water pump and it still overheats. What do you guys think heater core or head gasket? In the mean time I'm driving a Ford Thunderchicken so need to get this resolved quick.

if you still have coolant and oil mixing I would be head gasket.

Did you bleed the system properly? Is it losing coolant when you drive it?

I didn't do any of the work, I took it to a mechanic. The thermostat was changed a week after LIM.
