Oil Pressure / Voltage Gauges in cd hole Rate Topic: -----

got the gauges in last weekend but i didnt get the sending unit till yesterday, so now im not showing 0psi

thats brushed aluminum btw

EDIT: looks like a head gasket leak but i followed it up and it a little seep in the corner of the valve cover gasket, still runs to good to be the head gasket, drips like twice over night, no biggie

that second pic isnt very clear as to how you hooked it up, If im right you have a 3100 motor?

yea, thats under the exhaust manifold on the left side of the engine (front of the car)

hmmm, on the left side - as in sitting in the car or looking into the bay? Towards the oil filter or on the side near the a/c condensor? Did you need to get a "t" fitting for it at all or an extension to fit the sender?

the new sender on the left of the picture was 1/8" and the factory one on the right of the pic was 1/4" so i had to use a reducer with a 1/4" T and a 1 inch nipple into the block where the stock sender goes.... the blue in the far left of the pic is my a/c delco oil filter

I've thought about doing this before. Looks good. Are you thinking about painting the aluminum or just keeping it the way it is?

i took a 90* die grinder with a scotch brite pad to it.. if i change it any ill polish it, it just looks brushed right now
