Anyone ever remove their headliner before? I know the obvious things like taking off the clothes hangers, dome light and visors but what else needs to be done? Also, what is the best way to actually get it out of the car? Straight through the trunk maybe?

remove the pillars too. i would say slide the front seats up and fold forward, then pull out of a back door, i got a sunroof so mine folds in half cuz the master techs that installed it cut out all the solid sh*t, so mine is all saggy. i hope it works for you. You paintin it black?

i just did mine today, after you get the pillers down, theres an epoxy connecting some cardboard to the headliner. i just used a boxcutter to cut thru the epoxy. and then there was a black wire connected from my mirror to the top of the headliner to the trunk (not sure if its for the onstar or passenger safety light) but you can just seperate it using the boxcutter or some other knife.. push the driver and passenger seats all the way back and down to give you room to work.. then just kinda work it out the passenger side door so you can avoid the sterring wheel. hope this helps... good luck.

I think you might have better luck folding the front seats all teh way backin teh most forward position then dropping the headliner and rotating it out.

fold down the front seats and angle it out the front doors you wont have to bend the headliner.

I would take the front seats out IMO-I did this when I took mine out, makes everything easier than trying to adjust the seats and all, only 4 bolts per seat

I'd rather take two mintues and remove the seats, than spend 10-20 minutes maneuvering around the damn things. Good luck with it though
