Last week issac (1flyltz) found a 9c3 lumina in a yard near us. He grabbed the digital cluster for me and let me know the seats were still in there. I went back saturday with eric to get the seats, the last bolt stripped so i had to go back yesterday with a dremel and cut the bolt off. Overall the seats are in amazing condition, no rips or stains what so ever. Yesterday i painted them black, bolted them in and they feel amazing like all recaros. For the digital cluster i did get the switches to go in the hole on the left side of the steering wheel but forgot to take a pic. The switches work great, so do the gauges but since its a 98 cluster the ses light and fuel gauge doesn't work . Anyone have any idea how to get it working, or a way to install/wire an aftermarket fuel gauge in the glovebox or something?

Eric, haha. And for all of you to know because i know id get asked sooner or later, i payed $50 for the seats, $30 for the cluster and switches.

but yes the non matching would be killing me, id be at an upholstery shop getting the seats done in black lol

either way nice find... great deal... those have a pretty decent value if you sell them

i called an upholstery shop before he got them cuz i wanted them. $300 for fabric/vinyl $700 for leather. they are black now that he painted them so id rock black cloth and black leather any day... lol

fabric spray paint . I used it on my headliner/rear deck too. It works awesome, and doesnt rub off. Now all you can give me sh*t for this. hahaha.

They are smaller, so a bigger person wouldnt really like them, but me being 6ft tall and 150 pounds they basically grab me into them. The rear of the seat sits alot lower, and gives you more of a "race/coupe" feel. My brothers 2003 VW Gti has recaros and those things feel a little bit better, but im still happy with the ones i have for only $50.

haha, i already have my old rear cloth seat, the front bench seat and now the front bucket leathers. Too many seats.
