Back in the day I used to have FFP's underdive crank pulley on my 3100 Monte Carlo. I have since sold it. Were FFP's UDP interchangable between the 3100/3400 and the 3.4 DOHC? Reason I ask is that I have picked up an '01 Alero with the 3400.

I doubt it can mate up to a 3.4 DOHC, but it very well may mate up to the 3400 - but I'm not guaranteeing anything.

yup, works fine on the 3400, I have a 99 GA 3400 in my 95 LS and the FFP crank pulley swapped right over from my old 3100.
one thing to note, while the engines are the same, accessory belt routing and accessory locations vary model to model to fit different engine bays. so you may want to make sure there is enough clearance for a larger pulley.
note that most of the more experienced guys say that due to the lack of balancing that you don't want the FFP pulley on if your going for high power (turbo, sc, etc) but for mild mods and unmodded cars its fine and good for at least 5hp

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. The pulley I currently have belongs to a 3.4 DOHC (this UDP never went on my Monte Carlo, that one I sold). I'm wondering if this FFP Underdrive Pulley for the 3.4 DOHC is the same as the FFP UDP for the 3100/3400.

Wow, I didn't think they made UDP's for LQ1s. I wouldn't count on it working, but you never know...

likely not, but you can try, if the bolt pattern matches it should fit.

absolutely will not work. the 3100/3400 is a press on pulley and the 3.4 DOHC is a bolt on
