well,m the time has finally come to lower my car, but i have a fair amout of weight in the rear due to my subs, and also want to kind of angle the front, does anyone use these? or have a better set to get for around the same price?

http://www.wbodystor...ings-p-313.html

also, before the movers lost it, i had a zzp rear stb, so they'll be buying me a new one, and i was wondering if its just bolt on? it was in a gp, just bolted on

its a 98 monte carlo ls

you are getting gm stbs with zzp brackets for the front and the "nifty" rear bracket (lol i crack myself up) so they will bolt right in. the ones from zzp are for a grand prix and will not bolt right up.

also, nifty, i've actually pm'd you twice about them, wondering if the brackets you make would work for the zzp stbs, and if not, can i drill new holes? we did that on my dads GLI, but i dont know if itd work on the monte

i just bought em off a guy on here like a month ago. when i got em, i looked at my car and saw i don't think i have enough room to lower over an inch without consequenses...i think im just gonna change the struts and see if i have a little more room to play with. if not, i won't need em..but paid 200 for em

no they will not f*ckin bolt right in, they weren't made for your car. from the looks of the pics you don't have any where to drill into them and make new holes. the grand prix is wider so you would have to shorten the bar.

found some stuff that might help you...

ZZP STBs fit the 00-05 Monte Carlos, you just have to widen the hole a tiny bit.

Everything. Cradle, struts, knuckles, swaybars. basically the whole design.

****The only suspension item that will work on 5th and 6th gens is rear trailing arms****

I know, but I don't know the full differences between the 2, and they don't list ANY Montes on there, even though it fits with hardly any modification. So just in case that information could help anyone :)
