Ok, So i Bought a Walbro For my Fuel System, since the other pump was failing me...now i took the tank off, took the assembly apart...but there are two lines that go into the fuel pump...and in the new walbro i cannot plug that one in!!! any help?

the first pic shows the original pump, the second pic shows both pumps and the second line insert...the third pic shows the second line that goes to the pump...

Need to buy a pig tail that goes to the walbro pump and just cut and splice it in.

i'm not quite sure what it's a pig tail, i'm from Puerto Rico so my englich is poor...but i'll look it up! now, can i get this in autozone, advance auto, ect?

This was not helpful at all. He's asking about the difference in the feed/venturi lines not about the electrical connections...




You bought the wrong pump. You need a venturi specific walbro that has an extra fitting for the venturi line. The smaller line is the venturi line.

Or you can install your universal walbro and drill holes in the bottom and sides of the canister so the fuel pump will feed correctly and no longer use the venturi to fill the canister.

ok, so i need to change the fuel pump with one that has the other "thing"!!! still a universal one will work right? this is what was holding me back! i tried changing the one in the original pump to the walbro, but it's loose, so i will have to change it tomorow

That pump you posted would be correct. It needs to have the smaller fitting for the venturi feed. You cannot just swap the fitting onto a universal pump to make it work. The only option to make a universal pump work would be to drill holes in the plastic canister so the pump stays submerged.

If you are looking into getting a different pump, I would go with PRJ performance's racetronix pump. I have one and it was a pretty straightforward swap. Little wiring work but not too shabby.

he's also been some help! i ordered the pump and still waiting for delivery since i am in Puerto Rico It takes a little too more, but he's been helpful when i was running hard in my other 3.1L Lumina! but still while waiting i got two kits of 4300K HID's And the 4 blacked out corners from ComradeRedXv2 that just look amazing! cleaned the tank and did some cleaning and painting on the L67 Engine!!! i'm waiting!!
