pulley is on!!!! got 9 lbs of boost so right around normal for a 3.5 pulley... used a 3 prong puller and some mapp gas the pulley is f*cked but got it off

Just curious, but what mods do you have to run a 3.5? If they are the mods in your sig, I would have started at the most a 3.6.

Do you have no knock (engine noise) or no knock retard (can only be verified by a scan tool)? I seriously doubt you have no kr. Most people have it with 3.5 and headers, you don't even have a downpipe. Oh well, not my motor that's gonna blow into pieces

no need to get defensive, were just trying to help. granted im gonna be breaking in my engine to boost, ill be starting out on a 3.6 on my build when im done, and im going pretty all out.

ill have to agree with matt on this one, u say NO knock, so well assume u havea scan guage or something to see u have no knock. if not, id get it looked at

I don't understand. It seems like a lot of "newer" people on the site get all defensive when you try helping them out. That is what a forum is for. We are all here to help each other out with questions/problems like yours. I ask an honest question that will probably save your engine, and you get defensive when people tell you what we all know. We can already tell you have no idea what you are looking for when it comes to KR, which is something you HAVE to scan for (you can't hear it). Like Matt said, there are people on this forum that have DP/headers, tune, intake, and a 3.5 pulley that still have KR.

im not getting defensive sorry if i made it seem that way im just saying what zzp had posted on website. and no engine knock and of course i cant scan for knock retard i dont have a scanner yet next thing on my list. but engine wise it seems fine runs good, pulls good, so i hope nothing is wrong

1. ZZP's website is not the bible, it is simpley a very outdated guidline. This guideline has been proven to be wrong by many people blowing pistons on 3.4s with the mods they have listed as "ok".
2. Like I said, knock retard isn't something you hear. Just because it isn't making noise and is running fine doesn't mean its not there. In fact if you're not scanning, chances are you won't notice a problem until that problem is your car running like sh*t and a plug being smashed because you just chunked a piston.
