To All:
Well, my turning signal switch needs replacing (I guess they tend to fail on these W bodies.)
I notice pricing online from 35 bucks (after market, made in China) up to $140+ for original Delco. Any feed back on the reliability of the cheaper ones?

Delco.
Replacing the switch is a serious PITA. I can pretty much guarantee if you go after-market you will be replacing it in a year or less. If you go Delco it will last another 10.
There are some parts on the monte where this applies. Generally any sensor or electronic component you want to stick with OE with a few exceptions (MAF, fuel pump, etc)

I didn't replace mine, I repaired it.
Better you than me!
I decided to get the expensive one at my local NAPA. $120 and they had it in stock. That tells you something, they sell a lot of them.

I agree its a PITA to replace them but if I remember correctly I went OE from gm parts direct and saved some money that way.
They sell the OE model on RockAuto for $88 right now.
It helps to have another car to drive while one's being worked on.

Yah, it's tuff when you have your car apart in the driveway and you need another part at the parts store! I do have a 2006 Harley Electra Glide to do that.
Well, the switch I installed 2 months ago is going strong!
