Hey!!
I am wondering if i can put a supercharger on my 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo... It has the 3.4L V6???
I am doing alot of upgrades to it like suspention and exhaust and other things....
But i was thinking about sup-ing up the engine and i dont know what to do and i REALLY dont want to turbo charge it....
If you have any suggestions or the answer to my question that would be great ...
Thanks
Nicho

Most people are going to tell you to just do an L67 swap, you'll get more power for less money and have more opportunities in the future to mod it as there's more of a community for the 3800s over the 3400s. If you have the engine I'm thinking of (the DOHC 3400) then Dave96Z34 has supercharged it but has put a lot of work into it to get it running right. Not trying to discourage you, just giving you some advice. Whatever route you end up going good luck and welcome to MyMonte!

Why is this in the DOHC section?
3400 v6= pushrod 60 degree v6
3.4 DOHC= twin dual cam 60 degree v6
Referring to it like above makes things alot easier on these forums
There is also the 3.4 pushrod V6 used in the 93-97 v6 camaros but that doesnt really apply on this site.

Moved to correct section.
That being said, its a waste to do IMO.

As I said earlier, just do an L67 swap. You'll be much much much happier in the end.
