Hows it going, i have looked all over the forum and i cant seem to find the answer im looking for, im in the process of making a FWI for my 99 Monte 3100 and would like to know what u guys have used to make ur own FWI, most importantly i wan to know the coupler u have used for the TB and MAF, cause ive bought like three different couplers and none of them have work, thanks alot for the help in advance

Lowes or home depot should have what you need. I used a piece of 4" pvc and a 3" to 4" rubber coupler that should be close to the pvc section then my 4" K&N filter. Just cut a hole for your IAT sensor in the coupler then bolt everything together. The coupler I used is called a fernco. It will have hose clamps on both sides. The only thing you might have to adjust for is the size of your filter. If you only have a 3" filter, just use a 3" to 3" fernco and a piece of 3" pvc.

Not wanting to start another war on this, but I recommend ABS tubing over PVC.

Or you could use ABS tubing. They both will work fine.

It is ABS plastic, which is used in a lot of construction projects, as is PVC.
