Hey Everyone, it's a pleasure to be here.

I have a 96 lumina 3.1, and I've been having a few issues, I got a code of P1652 and was wondering if any of you had dealt with this issue before and beat it. My car has been shutting off, right after starting it sometimes. When I do get it to start, it idles high and low as if struggling to stay running.

I have changed Fuel filter, pump, regulator in 2010,and this year, new plugs, wires, alternator, starter, oil/filter, Zmax oil&fuel additives, map, oxygen & maf sensors, reseal injtrs, new intake Mani&Plenum gaskets. I am trying to clear off these cels and the Evap purge solenoid valve and that
P1652 are the only 2 left. Any help is greatly appreciated.

if you go to autozone with the code they can punch it into the computer and give you a print off of possible causes as a place to start.

searching around online the p1652 code relates to the #2 engine cooling fan.

so...check the wiring and the connectors for any corrosion, loose, frayed, or exposed wires, and continuity.

you can also try replacing the cooling fan relay to see if it is a stuck relay.

Hey Batman96LS, thanks for your input, I will definately check. The fan hasn't been coming on.
