I have had problems with the car sputtering when it gets hot and I turn it off then start it again. For example I could drive 20 minutes to daycare and turn the car off and it would do it when I get back in to leave. If i drive would drive it and let it cool down before I restart it didn't do it. I went to get my daughter from daycare two weeks ago today and it started doing it again but this time it shut down completely and would not restart. I made it about 1/8th of a mile from daycare and thats where the car has been sitting waiting for me to decide if I am going to fix it or not. I feel like the car is too old to spend a bunch of money fixing but too nice to give up on now. We have owned the car 11 years and I am not sure if I can part with it just yet. If I do get rid of it I will have a small demod sale going on soon. What should I do? Sorry for the long post but I miss my car.

fuel pump...?

I thought about that but I just filled up the gas tank and I am not sure how to change the fuel pump. Is there an access panel or do I have to drop the tank? The sad part about the situation is my truck broke down a week later and my Civic left me on the side of the road this week also. The Civic was an easy fix, I had to replace a terminal on the alternator but I go to work at 4am so I had to wait for the sun to come up to diagnose and fix the problem.

Yep, you gotta drop the tank, no access hatch on these cars :\
Be sure to check your fuel pressure, but don't ever rule out a problem with the ICM, coils, cam sensors and or crank sensors.

What is the ICM? Is it an ignition control module or something close to that? I have another set of coils and I replaced the cam and crank sensors last year so I dont mind buying those again. I guess I will drain the gas out and drop the tank when I get a chance.

Yep, ICM is ignition control module.
I would say clean the MAF but it's a '95

Lol, yeah I had someone say replace the MAF when it was idling bad. I sprayed starting fluid in it to make sure it would crank and it did. I listened for the fuel pump and never heard it so as soon as my wife gets home I am going to buy a pump to drain the gas out with.
