I actually like the parking lights idea the best. This way I totally avoid the problem of them staying on whith the high beams.

Doh! Why didn't I think of using the parking lights! Good idea. I might still consider this. Thank you for your information!

Where did you tap into your parking lights at?

To be honest I pulled a bulb out and turned the parking lights on to see which filament is the one that stays on always, I then just pulled the bulb out and you can see the leads that the filement go to into the socket and just tapped that wire.

There's one ground and two 12v wires on is obviously the continuous and the other the signal portion. If you get the wrong one just use the other.

it just hit me (and worse I think it's been said before unless I'm having brain farts) but just kick the e-brake. I set my all the time anyway. The lights stay off until you release it. So start the car then release.

I did that for awhile too but then just disabled the drl/auto light feature all together. Id rather control them manually with the switch. Its not good for them if you forget and start the car at night with the e-brake off they come on then shut off when you hit the starter then come back on.

Trust me it really does shorten the life of the bulbs or it will mess the ballast up it's self. Been there done that multiple times on different cars or seen friends do it and say it will be fine. Then wonder why one of there lights burned out 4 months in and I have had the same set for 2 years.

Do it get the flicker harness for around ten bucks on ebay, trigger the relay with the parking light 12v and trigger your high beam shields or w/e they are called in the HID projectors with the 12v from the high beam socket or sockets how ever that has to be done.

Then get another harness and some fog light with matching hids and trigger those with the parking lights too for some added brightness. Plus then you have everything on at once.

It makes a huge difference to have them all on at once trust me haha.

Well I figured out a flaw in the parking light idea. After installing them and locking my car the first time, the parking lights flashed and turned the HID's on twice quickly. Darn. Guess I'll be clipping that wire on the remote start box. Too bad.. I liked that feature because I could tell from inside my house that the car had locked or had started with the remote start.

In other news.. the projectors are AMAZING! :D I love driving at night

How much would you charge if I sent you a pair of ebay headlights and you take them buy the same projectors and replicate this same thing?

Im serious if its a decent price on the labor and all I will prolly be sending you a set. I hit a deer on the pass side and need a new headlight anyway and I'm tired of the crap light output of our headlights.

PM me if happen to see this

I would consider it. The projectors themselves are $120. add another $35ish for HID kit (or $70 if you want HID highs like I do aslo). A few other supplies might bring you to $200. A wiring harness too? That's probably $75ish in supplies the way i have it set up with 4 relays, wire, connectors, and wire loom. I have no clue how long it would take me to make them in hours, but I imagine quite a few especially with all the adjusting and aiming too. These are pretty rough estimates though.

We are looking at $275 headlights WITHOUT labor. How much are you willing to spend?

All I would want is for you to install the projectors in the headlights. I was gonna do all the wiring and what not. Just install, test and aim them for me and I would be happy. Or atleast get them close to aimed and I'll fine tune them on my actual car.

So the cost would be 120 for the projectors plus whatever you feel your time is worth.

You should buy these or these if you want projectors for the low.
