My car has been parked since october 2010 went to start it yesterday and starts up then died. check the the oil stick it is a rusty color. could the oil be contaminated? if i were to replace the engine and tranny what my best options? any help gladly appreciated.

Whenever you store a car you need to change the oil before you even start the car, fuel stabilizer (probably need a whole new tank of fuel), Need to check all the wires and anything rubber.
