I have a 96 monte that tops out at 104mph. How can i get my computer to stop shuting down my car at that speed.

Use your Nintendo DS (or borrow one from a friend) and hook it up to the PCM. Start up the DS with any game and press:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, Select, Start.

That should take care of it.

Don't use the new Nintendo 3DS, it can fry your PCM because of the higher processing speed.

seriously though, you need a tuned PCM or need to know someone with a tuner that can remove your governor. I, however, do NOT condone maxing out a car on the street. Be safe...

Gameshark works the best, removes the limit and unlocks your stereo so you can play CD's from other countries.
1998 Monte Carlo LS. 117k miles. All sorts of lights on in the dash.
