It's pretty fun having the digital dash. I just wish I would have programmed the correct mileage into mine. Looks good Digi!

What's to like about the digital dash?

Whereabouts is this walk through? I searched to no avail though.

More accurate and is good for over 200mph Looks allot nicer too. I really need to update the walk threw I revised it 3 or 4 times since then to make it easy install and switches are all integrated in to a rotary switch that goes were the stock odometer reset button was. Looks awesome!

Sweet! I definitely want one now.

I found one for sale, but I can't find that switch anywhere...the part number doesn't find anything.

Yea, I saw that one. It was around $75 for the switch plus $14 shipping. Making switches is probably cheaper.

more accurate in what way, just the mph reading or does it read the pcm better with the other gauges? cause i think most of my gauges are way off. speedo shows about 1-2 mph lower than what im going, coolant temp guage barely moves, and the rpm shows a 200-400 more than wat pcm is reading.

if your speedo is off,was it like that or do you have different tires? if you have different tires then even with the new cluster the speedo will be off. you would need to retune the speedo via the PCM to correct it. for the RPM. do you have an engine swap and running the wrong cluster? or is it just off?

the cluster reads the Speed from the PCM.

Analog vs digital think about it is counting the pcms pulses uses a math equation to track speed. Analog is turning a stepper motor its not possible for it to be 100% accurate. Your tach being 200rpm off heads up all us 5th gens are and why you might ask? because its analog.

i thought i saw a cluster for sale over at w-body.com yesterday. i just like having the correct switches in there. it always nagged at me that there was a hole there like it was missing something. now it is complete.

I prefer the analog speedo look. And "the hole" is where I keep my wallet!
