I cant get the high pressure power steering line to go on. my father in law will be bring home some line wrenches that should help tonight, but just wanted to make sure im not missing soemthing. the rack is orignial from my 96z and the line is off of a 98z.

here is a pic from autozone's website they look the same at where the HP an LP lines go in... is there any chance they changed the threads? according to the description,they are: the same inlet and outlet sizes in: 18mmx1.5 and out: 16mmx1.5

Should be the same...I just did one like last week on a 5th gen, took awhile, but I ended up starting the line at the pump after fighting w/ the lower one for quite some time. Once the pump line was on, the rack fitting was easy

Sorry didnt update this thread. i got it on. my father in law had a set of line wrenches that made the job easy. it would have been near impossible without them to get those lines tight. the car is running great!
