hello all! just in case is not that bad. but i'm tired of it!
everytime i go WOT the car just sits down from the rear!
my lumina its l67 swapped.
i just installed new struts, but it wont matter. i think the springs were not made for the power the L67 produces.
what can i do? i know i'm losing lots of traction there! i did 13.8 @ 105 MPH i want to do something about this!
maybe installing a spring from a ZR-1 will help!!! XD

You may want to get some Z34/LTZ springs, I believe they are stiffer than LS springs.
For the traction loss: get slicks. For the slicks: get transmission.

You can do the cable mod if you are only worried about the track. You could also look into spring blockers. Of course you can do the above, or lower the car. IMO I would just put slicks on it, or a something like a Nitto NT555R if you plan on keeping the stock trans.

whats the cable mod???
any good spring blockers???
im getting those nittos!
someone at school came with something strange
i do not know if this works, he claimed it worked for him
he installed astro van rear springs inside the strut, including the stock springs.
he used two springs. would this really work?

You need stiffer rear coils and drag slicks. MT et streets are the best for street/strip

i saw a cobalt years ago that had air bags in the rear springs he could use a 12v pump to inflate to limit rear travel... i wish we could do that. but havent seen them out there.
-you could add more air to the rear tires
-get wider tires up front for street use. i run 245/45-17's but that throws the speedo off... its corrected in my tune. but for stock you could run i think a 245/50-16
-if you havent done it yet, flip your front engine mounts. you can do a search here or on google about flipping them... basicly you spray wd40 or liquid wrench in the rubber area and tighten the bolt down so that the connected piece of rubber is horizontal instead of vertical... this helps keep the engine from rocking as much and improves power to the ground.
