Hey everyone, the thought has been crossing my mind if I should get a new DD or not. There is nothing seriously wrong with my car at the moment, but probably within a year or so it will need some things replaced; pass side tie rod end/ball joint, probably new front brakes, all new brake lines, possibly fuel and tranny lines, etc.

The car has 143k on it, and about 60k of that has been highway miles. (I went to school about 25 miles away one way, and now work about 50 miles away one way, so I put some serious miles on my car.) Anyway, overall the car is in good shape, has a set of wheels for the winter time, and a set of wheels for the summer time, both sets have about 1/2 tread on them. How much do you think I could get for my car? According to kelly blue book my car is worth around $2500-3000. Do you guys think I could get 3000 for it?

I wouldn't pay 3000 for a car with that kind of mileage and has lived in the snow. $1500 is about right. Ask 2000 and see what kind of offers you get.

Haha, if that's all I would get for it I would not sell it. We shall see.

Dude I bought a 98 lumina less miles and nothing wrong for 700 bucks. No way you're getting 3 grand for that
